Rooney on course to return against Fulham
Wayne Rooney is back in training and could return against Fulham on monday at Old Trafford.
Fergie expressed his satisfaction on Rooney’s recovery after the Sporting Lisbon game.
“Wayne’s making good progress,” Sir Alex said.
“He did some running last week and he has resumed training this week.
“We are looking at him making his comeback against Fulham.”
Rooney has scored 4 Premiership goals this season. He got injured in the first game of the season against Reading and missed 5 games as a result. Now again injury has come his way when he injured his ankle during training before the Blackburn game earlier this month.
