After winning all three categories of PFA awards, Wayne Rooney has now won all three major club awards. These include Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Goal of the Season awards.

The player of year award is decided by United’s fan around the globe, and a staggering 83% fans voted for Rooney.

Rooney expressed his mixed emotions on getting all three awards.

“I was a bit surprised I got Goal of the Season,” Wayne told MUTV. “To win both the players’ and fans’ Player of the Year is a great feeling and it’s something I’m very proud of.”
