New deal for Jonny Evans in the pipeline

Although nothing is official yet, but looks like Jonny Evans is going to sign a new long-term deal in the coming days. Ferguson revealed this at the ManUtd Club Award ceremony last night:
“Jonny has proved himself. He has signed a new contract and helps to provide a good foundation for the club for a long time.”
Well Evans has certainly proved himself, playing in that centre-back position many times this season he has done a good job. It is good to see yet another United academy product coming up the ranks and making a name for himself.
