There is no doubt what John Terry did to Wayne Bridge was totally wrong. He cheated on his own wife and stabbed his England and Chelsea team-mate in the back as well. Still it is somewhat acceptable that Chelsea fans want to back their captain.

Wayne Bridge refused to shake hands with Terry before kick-off today, which is quite understandable, why would he not want to snub someone who had an affair with the mother of his child? But what happened Chelsea fans did shows why they’re so often branded ‘classless’. What did Wayne Bridge do wrong to get booed by Chelsea fans every time he touched the ball? He’s a former Chelsea player for God’s sake, not even a little bit of respect for him? Just shows what fans of a club with no tradition and class do.
