Jose Mourinho: Ferguson trained Ronaldo is NOT a diver!

Jose Mourinho is never short of opinion about almost anybody. Famous for criticizing seniors, peers and players, this time he’s come out with praise for Cristiano Ronaldo and Sir Alex Ferguson. The former Chelsea and Inter Milan manager thinks that honest players like Ronaldo need more protection from the match officials, and that the former FIFA World Player of the Year owes his work ethics to none other than the United manager.
“Cristiano is a player who does not have the culture of the swimming pool, he has no culture of simulation, he is a British-trained player, Ferguson trained,” he said.
“In some cases, the simulators are given more protection, and those who are honest are often the losers. I’m not a hypocrite if I say that they (defenders) hit Cristiano very hard, and that the yellow cards do not arrive or are slow in coming.”
