Champions League Draws: United to face Bayern Munich!

The draw for quater-finals of UEFA Champions League has taken place. The semi-finals pairs have also be drawn and some mouth-watering fixtures have come up:

QUARTER-FINALS
Olympique Lyon v Girondins Bordeaux
Bayern Munich v Manchester United
Arsenal v Barcelona
Inter Milan v CSKA Moscow

SEMI-FINALS
Bayern Munich/Manchester United v Olympique Lyon/Girondins Bordeaux
Inter Milan/CSKA Moscow v Arsenal/Barcelona

ManUtd have got a somewhat easier path to the final as compared to the only other English side, Arsenal. Arsenal will need to beat raining champions Barcelona first, and then most likely Mourinho’s Inter Milan in the semi-finals. ManUtd have been paired with Bayern Munich, and if they get past them, it will be either Lyon or Bordeaux waiting for them in the semi-finals.

The quarter-final ties take place on March 30/31 and April 6/7, while semi-final ties will take place on April 20/21 and April 27/28. The teams mentioned first in each tie play at home first.
