Fabregas is forced to wear Barcelona jersey as Puyol and Pique play a prank on the Arsenal captain. Arsenal fans must be fuming after looking at this but I am not sure about Fabregas as wearing that jersey is exactly what he wants. Video of this incident can be seen here.

For the past two years it was us United fans who had to bear the agony of hearing rumours and speculations linking our star player (Ronaldo) to another club. I remember how dull Euro 2008 seemed to me, as a possible Ronaldo exit was always on my mind. Now it’s the Gunners’ turn, their prized asset, their captain could be heading to Barcelona this summer. And if this is not settled before 11th June, their World Cup charm could be ruined as well.

The following statement will surely make all United fans smile. Not sure about Arsenal fans though. Enjoy!

Few thousand fans attend Chelsea’s trophy parade and hollow celebrations

Back in 1999, when United’s Treble winning side returned home, around 500,000 fans flocked the roads of Manchester to welcome their heroes. Fans made sure they celebrated the best moment in the club’s history in style. By Chelsea standards, this year’s double is their best achievement yet. But when their team paraded the trophies on Sunday, the celebrations were far from spectacular.

According to most newspapers, ‘thousands’ of Chelsea supporters were present in the streets of London to take part in the celebrations. Mind it; we’re not talking about a hundred thousand Chelsea fans here, not even tens of thousands, just ‘thousands’. As the pictures and videos suggest, that is exactly the amount of fans that took part in the trophy parade. BBC commented on the low attendance of fans in this manner:
“Crowds of Chelsea fans, four or five-people deep in places, clapped the players and club staff…”

The ‘four or five-people deep’ crowd part tells the whole story. The roads were far from flooded, which allowed some fans to follow the slowly moving buses for long distances. One wonders, how many more millions of pounds, ruined player careers and sacked managers will it take for Chelsea to become one of the best supported clubs in at least London…

Its confirm now… Citeh are not playing Champions League football next season, neither are Liverpool! Crouch’s goal was enough to seal a place in top four for Spurs!

A historic night for the North-London side, and certainly a good night for United fans as well. Our noisy neighbours, despite all their oil money and multi-million dollar signings, are still crap.

Spurs were one point ahead of Citeh before the match, and a win today takes their lead to an unassailable 4 points. In fact, Spurs can even finish third in the table if they win their last match, and Arsenal lose theirs.

Congratulations to Harry Redknapp and his team on this fantastic achievement!

(In case you are wondering who this guy in the picture is, his name is Kirk Bradley. This over-optimistic Citeh fan was not only sure that his team will play Champions League football next year, in fact he even got the words ‘Manchester City – 2011 – Champions League winners’ tattooed on this arm)

Liverpool and Lazio fans: A match made in heaven

Liverpool fans have finally found their match, Lazio fans in Italy are as classless as their ‘twins’ in England. This weekend, both sides were involved in potential title-deciding ties. Liverpool played table toppers Chelsea, while Lazio played defending champions Inter Milan. Both Liverpool and Lazio are no where near the top of the league, but still they had the chance to hurt the title chances of their most hated rivals, ManUtd and Roma respectively.

While a Liverpool banner said “Cockney 4 a day”, one in Lazio’s Stadio Olimpico saying “Scudetto – Game Over” cleared any doubts that a conspiracy was being plotted.

When Frank Lampard scored the decisive goal at Anfield, Liverpool ‘faithful’ were seen celebrating openly in the stands. Very similar scenes were witnessed in Italy where Lazio fans celebrated when Inter scored. Later, Some Lazio fans even celebrated in the streets as if their team had won.

Lazio’s unsportsmanlike actions were criticized by Italy biggest news papers:

“Lazio surrenders without a fight.”

“Those who love sports, not just football, cannot celebrate in seeing Lazio’s quiet obedience to its fans, who wanted it to lose.”

Even Inter president Massimo Moratti looked surprised:

“The crowd was completely with us and that was a very odd situation.”

Liverpool are not far bahind, one of their most popular fansite, KOPTalk, declared Gerrard’s back pass the best thing their captain had done all season.

With yet another trophyless season confirmed, and no Champions League football next year, shouldn’t Liverpool fans be worried about their clubs future more than anything? The financial impact is only half of their problems, they also face possible exit of their star players which will further weaken the team.
